The Bedroom...
If you live on one of the mountains on Venus...below you can see what could be your view from the bedroom. There are great advantages and some disadvantages to living on Venus. Firstly, you will require sulfuric acid proof windows, to make sure that the venusian atmosphere doesn't get in, but on the otherhand, with all that geological activity around, and due to Venus's proximity to the Sun, you will not need to invest much in central heating or kitchen appliances like ovens or toasters.
If you are in the car-crushing business you are also in luck. The atmospheric pressure on Venus is so great, that your job will be done for you by the atmosphere. Finally, do not forget to get a good coat that can withstand the wind. The windspeeds on Venus are in excess of 200 miles per hour, so if you are into mini-kite flying, this is the spot you want. (How you will be able to remain on the ground flying the kite is another question.) Ladies you do not require your blowdryer on Venus. The wind is hot enough.
Apart from the romantics that will undoubedtly not be able to ignore the attraction and magic of Venus, Venus is the ideal spot for volcano spotters. In order not to spot one, you must be blind. Lava flows and their accompanying earthquakes are all thrown in for free.
The view is to the northeast with the Gula Mons Volcano appearing on the horizon. Gula Mons, a 3 kilometer (1.86 mile) high volcano, is located at approximately 22 degrees north latitude, 359 degrees east longitude. The impact crater Cunitz, named after the astronomer and mathematician Maria
Cunitz, is visible in the center of the image, and hey doesn't it just look like your own personal helicopter landing pad?
